1.PURPOSE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 The objective of these Terms and Conditions is to govern the legal relations between Jeka Bet and a Player.

2.DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

2.1 The words and terms below, when used in this contract, have the meaning given here, unless the context clearly implies otherwise and will govern the Player’s use of the Website.

Betting or Bets: Include, without limitation, wagering, gaming, and gambling conducted in relation to any and/or all of the services offered on the Website. Devices: Any application devices, including but not limited to personal computers, laptops, mobile telephones, smartphones, tablets, etc., used to access the Website and participate in the services.

Jeka Bet, Us, or We: Jeka Bet.

Player: A person who has a player account and uses the services.

Player Account: An account created on the Jeka Bet website for betting purposes. Representatives: Representatives, directors, agents, and employees of Jeka Bet. Service or Services: All games, services, and related content or software, whether downloadable or otherwise, accessible through the website and allowing participation.

Software: The software licensed by us, allowing a Player to play online games. Terms and Conditions: These terms and conditions.

3.ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

3.1 By registering an Account with Jeka Bet, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, which may be modified periodically.

3.2 The Agreement applies to the usage of the Services and takes effect when you tick the acceptance box during the registration process.

4.MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

4.1 Jeka Bet reserves the right to amend, modify, and update these Terms and Conditions, including policies related to bonuses, withdrawals, betting, and privacy. In case of significant changes, a notification will be sent to you, and you will need to accept the new terms to continue accessing the Services.

5.OPENING AN ACCOUNT

5.1 To use the Services, your age must be of more than 25 (twenty-five) and register personally with accurate personal information.

5.2 By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you declare that all information provided is accurate and derived from legal sources.

5.3 You may only open one Player Account. Multiple accounts will be closed, with funds consolidated under the first account, if applicable.

6.PLAYER’S PERSONAL INFORMATION

6.1 Jeka Bet owns all personal data provided by Players for account registration and usage of Services, and may use this data in accordance with internal policies.

6.2 Jeka Bet will take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access but does not guarantee absolute security. The Player assumes liability for safeguarding their account credentials and any unauthorised access resulting from compromised credentials.

7.LICENCE TO USE THE SERVICES

7.1 Jeka Bet grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the Services, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

8.IDENTIFICATION AND AGE VERIFICATION

8.1 You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to register and use the Services. Jeka Bet may require proof of age and identity at any time.

9.FURTHER CONDITIONS OF USE

9.1 You warrant that you will not engage in illegal or unauthorised activities through the Website and will not act on behalf of another person.

10.OUR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

10.1 Jeka Bet is not responsible for unauthorised access to Player Accounts. Players assume full responsibility for the security of their account information and for any losses resulting from unauthorised use.

11.FORBIDDEN JURISDICTIONS

11.1 Use of the Services is prohibited in jurisdictions where it is illegal. Jeka Bet reserves the right to suspend accounts from such regions.

12.RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING

12.1 Jeka Bet is committed to responsible gambling and will assist players showing signs of problem gambling.

13.DEPOSITS

13.1 Deposits must be made from the registered account holder’s account. Promotional bonus funds cannot be withdrawn directly and must meet wagering requirements.

14.WITHDRAWALS

14.1 Refer to Jeka Bet’s Withdrawal Policy for details on withdrawing funds from your Player Account.

15.BET AND PAYOUT LIMITS/RESTRICTIONS

15.1 Bet Amount Limits

The minimum stake amount is 1000 UGX.

The maximum stake amount should not exceed 5,000,000 UGX.

System Enforcement: Our system provider is not authorised to accept any bets exceeding these limits. If a bet is mistakenly accepted above the maximum limit, the excess amount will be cancelled, and only the maximum allowable bet amount will stand. All limits are enforced in Ugandan Shilling (UGX).

15.2 Betting Terms and Conditions

Validity of Winning Tickets: A winning ticket is valid for 30 days from the date of the event’s completion. Claims made after this period will not be accepted, and the ticket will be considered void.

Flexibility in Limits: Jeka Bet reserves the right to increase, reduce, or otherwise adjust the betting limits at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately and will apply to future bets.

Winning Tax: As per Uganda betting law, a 15% withholding tax will be deducted from all winning tickets before payout. This tax applies to all bettors, and Jeka Bet is responsible for remitting it to the relevant tax authorities. By placing a bet, the bettor acknowledges and agrees to this deduction.

15.3 Maximum Winning Amount

The maximum payout amount on any winning bet is limited to 20,000,000 UGX. If a winning ticket exceeds this payout, the prize will be capped at the maximum limit.

15.4 Prize Collection Conditions

Prize Collection Deadline: Winners must collect their prize within 30 days from the date they are notified of their win. After this period, Jeka Bet reserves the right to void the prize.

15.6 Bet Confirmation

No Bet Cancellation: Once a bet is placed, it cannot be cancelled. Before confirming your bet, please review and double-check your selections, stake, and other details. By confirming, you acknowledge that your bet is final and cannot be reversed.

COMPLAINTS

16.1 If you have a complaint, you may contact Jeka Bet’s customer support. We aim to resolve issues promptly.

PLAYER ACCOUNT SUSPENSION

17.1 Jeka Bet reserves the right to suspend or close your Player Account if these Terms and Conditions are violated.

DORMANT ACCOUNTS

18.1 Accounts inactive for 3 months are considered dormant and may be closed at Jeka Bet’s discretion.

INDEMNITY

19.1 You agree to indemnify Jeka Bet for any claim, damage, or loss resulting from your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY

21.1 The Services are provided “as is.” Jeka Bet does not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the Website is virus-free.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

22.1 Players assume all liability related to the use of the Services, including ensuring that their access to the Services is legal in their jurisdiction and safeguarding their account information. Jeka Bet is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access or usage by third parties or for any damages caused by system failures, viruses, or data losses.

FORCE MAJEURE

23.1 Jeka Bet shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions that are caused by events beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).

23.2 A Force Majeure Event includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Acts of God (e.g., earthquakes, floods, fires); War, invasion, or acts of terrorism; National or regional emergencies; Compliance with any law or governmental order; Strikes or other labour disputes; Technical failures, including internet, power, or system outages.

23.3 During the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, Jeka Bet’s obligations will be suspended and extended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event. Jeka Bet will make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact and resume service as soon as possible.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW

24.1 Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Uganda. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall attempt to resolve it amicably. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the courts in Uganda, which will have exclusive jurisdiction.

GENERAL

25.1 Failure of Jeka Bet to exercise their rights under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

25.2 If any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full effect.

25.3 These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between you and Jeka Bet.
